South Florida School Ratings

How Do Broward And Miami-Dade Counties Rank Up?

According to The Florida Department of Education, FCAT test results for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties showed an overall improvement from the previous school year. In fact, students from both counties met or exceeded the statewide standards.

What Is The FCAT?

FCAT stands for Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. This test is part of Florida’s overall plan to increase student achievement by implementing higher standards. You can visit http://www.fldoe.org/faq/default.asp?Dept=179&ID=972 for more information.

How Does This Relate To Buying Or Selling A Home?

Well many people, whether relocating one thousand miles or just ten miles, take greatly into consideration the quality of the school district. A higher school rating typically means increased home values and a higher demand for homes in that particular area.
